So.. Presentations... How was it again? "keep your audience interested and try to entertain them.. Keep the audience involved.. Don't fill slides with loads of information.." :)
I think this teacher made just about all the mistakes that my teacher Garr Reynolds told me to avoid when presenting.. Except saying "im nervous" in the beginning..

Gotta lend him my copy of "Presentation Zen"...

The gameshow was really everything I had expected, and more! Seeing all huge game makers presenting their latest was really something.

Ofcourse the cosplay made it´s very best impression aswell :) kind of funny seeing "Cloud" from Final Fantasy 7 taking pictures of the new characters in Final Fantasy 13. Oh, happened to see the sad pricing of the new FF. Apparently it will round up at about 11.000Yen or so, if the Tokyo gameshow guide is correct that is. Sad but true..

The Square Enix shop wasn´t a dissapointment either. Lots of hilarious stuff from the most popular games. It took about 30minutes of que:ing to be able to buy something (or even get close to the items for that matter) but I figured it would be a once in a life time chance to buy some genuine Square Enix products first hand.

It was hilarious to see all the people taking shots of the girls just because it happens to say "Intel" or "Konami" on their small skirts :)

Tokyo weekend trip!

The weekend turned out fantastic! Me and a Australian friend went to Tokyo to see the Tokyo gameshow and, for my part, experience Tokyo once again.

The nightbus is cheap, but it really is tiresome. Everytime you actually fall asleep there is a bump in the road or the bus has a scheduled break, which makes it more or less impossible to really sleep on the 8h ride.

Arriving at Tokyo station we decided to head to shibuya to grab some breakfast at starbucks. The picture of shibuya crossing is taken somewhere between 07.00 and 07.30 on friday morning. I hardly recognized the place, but then again.. it´s really early in the morning :)

I found the "headquarter" of my favorite japanese softdrink CC-Lemon! We were walking from Shibuya station to Harajuku, taking the path over Yoyogikoen. And there, out of the blue, the blessed sign of CC-Lemon appears! Harajuku had also changed a bit since last time. Didn´t really find the clothes that I was looking for though but it was funny to experience Takeshita-steet again.
